Pigs in Blanket
A total classic that is thought to have come from a Betty Crocker cookbook for kids from 1957, a quality free farmed or free-range ‘pig’ and ‘blanket’ makes all the difference. We like L’Authentique’s chicken and bacon sausages but you can use your favourite small sausage.

Ingredients2 packs of L ‘Authentique Chicken and Bacon Sausages
200g pack Freedom Farms Streaky Bacon
Green Bean skewers
MethodPreheat oven to 200°C.
Lay out the bacon on a chopping board or bench.
Wrap each sausage tightly clockwise around the sausage with a single strip of bacon and secure the end with a skewer. Repeat until all the sausages are wrapped.
Place all sausages on a lined baking tray and place in oven to bake for 30 mins or until the bacon is crispy and delicious.
