Porridge is a quick and easy breakfast for cold mornings. The orange peel and blackberry jam not only provide bursting flavour but vibrant colours to brighten any dull winter morning!
Pour the oats, milk and orange zest into a saucepan and leave it to sit for 20 minutes.
Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, adding the pinch of salt and stirring constantly. Adjust with water if needed.
Divide the porridge into 4 bowls. Scatter over the extra orange peel, blackberry jam and cream.

1/2 orange zest

Strips of orange peel
