JULY: AMERICAN ROAD TRIP
This month we are thinking about what it means to be an ‘American Classic’. The States are a culture of extremes – from the fine and fancy to the finger lickin’ fatty – it’s easy to see why things can become confused. But what we love most are the neighbourhoods that thrive with rich multiculturalism. Created by immigration, pockets of migrant life – Puerto Rican, Jamaican, regional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Greek and Italian – have flourished within long established communities to create a mish mash of all things wonderful. Korean tacos, Mexican Chinese food and American Italian is now in competition with the old school Jewish delis, BBQ joints and diners of generations past.
Our in-store teams are here to help with any questions of cooking advice that you may need and our selection of in-house recipes grows each week. Be sure to share your photos of your dishes with us over on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Be sure to tag us in your posts and use hashtag using #farrofresh to ensure we see your snaps!
