AUGUST: FIRE & FRAGRANCE
This month we are all about beautifully cooked meat and the way that fire has bought us such unique and interesting food. Fire and Fragrance is our August theme and while we dream of long languid BBQs in the sun, we also think handmade breads from hot clay ovens in Morocco, freshly caught seafood cooked on an open fire at the beach, backyard traditional hangi pits shared with family, roaring hot woks of China and charcoal-fired yakitori grills in Japan. It’s all types of heat and all types of smells.
